Body of a young Thai Bar Girl,
severed in two pieces,
was found on Thursday afternoon
in a plastic water container
buried in a wooded area.
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of body of a young bargirl who had been killed, cut in half and placed into plastic buckets before being buried.
The body of 23-year-old Warisara Glinjui was discovered by farmers.
Farm workers found the body parts in two buckets wrapped in black plastic bags several meters from a dirt road.
Pol Col Pakphum Phitsamai, police chief, told reporters his investigators believed the young woman, who worked nights in a city bar complex, had been murdered elsewhere before being cut in half at the waist and buried.
The victim also had her left arm cut off at the elbow.
Tattoos on the chest and the back enabled police to identify the woman.
One of the tattoos bore the full name of Warisara’s female “tomboy” friend, who was interrogated for an hour the same day and then released.
She was identified from distinctive tattoos, on her back and one on her chest reading Poppy.
