They call it "High Season" in Pattaya city.
Many business closed and are for sale.
Some open as well.

Ever changing Naklua, North Pattaya!

Open Air Food Court closed:

The Mill Artre Open Air Food Court on Naklua Road, located at the entrance to Naklua Soi 29, closed. It's a pity. It was such a nice place. Unfortunately many tourists from Germany and Russia missed to book their holidays in Thailand.

Ever changing Jomtien, South Pattaya!

On Sale 2 bars:

Both bars, the Star Bar as well as the Sexy Girl Bar, located in front of the Rompho Bar Complex, are on the block.

Ever changing Soi Bua Khao, Central Pattaya!

Unlucky Stars:

In the middle of Pattaya's High Season, on December 16th, Soi Buakhaow's large Lucky Star Bar, located in front of R-con's Bar Complex, had to close. An infallible sign of the disastrous state of Thailand's tourism business.

Ever changing Pattaya 2nd road!

Au Bon Pain closed:

Au Bon Pain, an American bakery cafe serving bagels, croissants, muffins, cookies, swirls, and brownies with coffe, espresso, and smoothies located on Second Road's Avenue Shopping Mall, closed down.

Ever changing LK Metro, Central Pattaya!

Kiss a gogo On the block:

Kiss A Go-Go is on the block. The venue just reopened on September 16th, after being closed for a two and a half months long renovation.

Ever changing Walking Street Pattaya!

Abbe closed:
Abbe's Bar had its last night. It's announced that the venue will open as an A Go-Go Bar during February 2017. The management is already looking out to attract more than 150(!) dancing girls!

PS. We just learnd that the new club will open as Pacha A Go-Go

Centralmarina opened.
On December 19th centralmarina Shopping Mall opened on Second Road in North Pattaya. It replaces the former CentralCenter at the very same site.

New McDonald's Outlet.
An all new McDonald's Fastfood outlet opened on December 14th at the otherwise still empty The Bay shopping mall on Pattaya Beach Road.
There are now four McDonald's Restaurants on Pattaya Beach Road, one on Walking Street, two on Pattaya Second Road, one on Sukhumvit Road but none in Jomtien or Naklua.

Rebirth of OLALA.
Olala reopened its wellknown Restaurant on Soi 7. The venue closed during May 2016 for renovation. A long wait, but worth it.

Rebirth of Flandria.
On Soi Buakhaow, opposite of the wellknown Marquee Scooter Bar, Flandria reopened its Restaurant.

Until May 2013 Flandria was a popular Belgian Bar & Guesthouse on Soi LK Metro. During June 2013 Flandria moved into larger, perhaps too large, premises on Soi Buakhaow, across the entrance to Soi Jirapol, but closed down during the third week of January 2016.

Back to The Krazy 80's.

On Soi Buakhaow, in the room of a former Wine Bar, known as La Brasserie, The Krazy 80's Bar opened on December 22nd.

Tasty Greek Food on Soi Buakhaow.

On December 22nd a Greek Grill House opened on Soi Buakhaow.

It is located near the Soi's Night Market and just opposite of Kasikorn Bank.
